Terms of Use-SMS/Mobile Messaging Program
By providing your phone number or otherwise enrolling in the messaging program, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile number, and you consent to receive reoccurring clinic-related SMS and/or RCS text messages from Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic. Messages may include appointment reminders, billing notices, care coordination updates, and clinic-related announcements. These messages are not encrypted and will not include personal health information (PHI). Participation in our text message program is voluntary and not required to receive care.
Data Usage
Mobile numbers are collected and used only for healthcare communications. They are not sold or shared except with trusted service providers who help deliver messages.
Message Frequency
Message frequency will vary depending on your care and clinic updates.
Costs and Carrier Information
Message and data rates may apply. Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic is not responsible for carrier charges. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
How to Stop or Restart Messages
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one final confirmation message. To restart messages, reply START to the same number.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued participation means you accept any updates.
Sharing of Information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
