I can now travel and enjoy life pain-free!! I can work out in a gym with no restrictions. My surgeries were in December 2022 and July 2023. I was doing great with my weight until my mother passed unexpectedly in November 2024. I put on some weight over the next year. I was still guarded with my knees and unsure how much I could do. A photo taken in December 2025 changed me very quickly and got me back on the horse. I topped out at 295 pounds. Today, I am down to 225 pounds. Without my new knees, this would not have been possible. Thank you, Dr. Mathien and team, as well as the entire crew at Knoxville Orthopaedic Surgery Center!!
