Dr. Andrew Harris is a dual fellowship-trained orthopaedic trauma and hand surgeon with years of extensive training in the most advanced bone, joint and muscle care. He joined Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic in 2020. His expertise includes traumatic orthopaedic injuries, fracture repair and comprehensive treatment of the hand, wrist and elbow. 

Born and raised in Knoxville, Dr. Harris received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry and cellular molecular biology from The University of Tennessee before earning his medical degree at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He then went to Brown University’s Warren Alpert Medical School in Providence, Rhode Island, for his orthopaedic surgery residency training, as well as his additional training in orthopaedic trauma through his first fellowship. Dr. Harris completed his second fellowship at The University of Utah in Salt Lake City, where he underwent intensive training in hand surgery.
