Sydney McCurry

Sydney McCurry, DPT, enjoys helping individuals recover post-operatively and return to the activities they love through personalized, evidence-based care.
A Knoxville native, Sydney earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from East Tennessee State University.
Sydney has a diverse background in clinical education with experience treating complex neurological conditions, including strokes and spinal cord injuries, as well as orthopaedic injuries in athletes at the collegiate, high school and recreational levels. She is certified in dry needling.
Sydney was drawn to join KOC in 2025 for its one-on-one treatment approach which allows her to build meaningful connections with patients as well as provide individualized, high-quality care.
She stays active through weightlifting, running, hiking, pickleball and soccer. In her free time, Sydney enjoys spending weekends on the lake with family and her fiancé and cheering on the Vols.
