KOC Urgent Care Featured on WBIR & Fox 43 Treating Snow Injuries

Some East Tennesseans embraced the first snow of 2025 by getting outside and sledding with loved ones, but not everyone made it through the winter weather unscathed.

KOC Urgent Care saw a number of snow-related injuries, and it wasn’t just the kids. WBIR spoke with our Kadie Orenstein, a physician assistant who says they saw a record 27 patients at one of our KOC Urgent Care locations Monday.
Orenstein says they saw a few pediatric cases, but most of the injured were adults. Injuries ranged from torn tendons and fractures to a broken knee cap.
