Wear festive gear and run, walk or stroll with your friends, family or coworkers, and let’s jingle all the way toward a cure.

2025 Jingle Bell Run – Knoxville, TN

12/13/2025 – 9:00 am at World’s Fair Park Amphitheatre

Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic Director of Therapy Russ Johnson is this year’s Corporate Chair for the event and joined WATE to talk about how it helps raise funds and awareness for a condition that impacts people of all ages.

Arthritis is inflammation in the joints which causes pain, stiffness and can impact range of motion and diminish your ability to do everyday tasks.

The Arthritis Foundation estimates that 1 in 4, or about 60 million adults, have a type of arthritis in the United States and hundreds of thousands of children are diagnosed with juvenile arthritis.

However, there is treatment available.

“We help manage and treat a lot of patients with arthritis at KOC and can attest to how important it is to employ strategies both to prevent inflammation and to reduce symptoms, through intentional movement, therapy, medications and procedures, if necessary,” Johnson said.

As a former SEC Champion pole vaulter and 2015 National Pole Vault Coach of the Year, Russ is excited to champion the Jingle Bell Run, raising funds and awareness to empower arthritis patients.

KOC offers innovative, evidence-based care to restore mobility and enhance quality of life for those with musculoskeletal conditions.

Don’t miss out on this special occasion to make a real difference while celebrating four decades of impact with the Jingle Bell Run. Let’s lace up, hit the pavement, and jingle our way toward victory over arthritis!
