What has changed?
The physicians of University Orthopaedic Surgeons, KOC, KOC Oak Ridge and OrthoTennessee Maryville have united under one name: Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic. Since 1998, we have all been one organization. Now we are one team with one name and one purpose: improving lives through patient-centered care – every patient, every time.
How does this affect my treatment?
As a patient, you can expect the same level of exceptional and compassionate care you’ve come to trust.
Can I still see the same doctor?
Yes! Your current physician is still part of our team, and you can continue to see the providers of your choice.
Will clinic locations change?
All locations will continue to serve you as before. Only some names have changed. University Orthopaedic Surgeons and OrthoTennessee Maryville are now Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic just like our other locations:

Will you still take my insurance?
There will be no impact on your insurance coverage or out-of-pocket cost. Our network remains the same for insurance filing purposes.
Will there be any changes to the patient portal or how I access my medical records?
You will continue to have access to your medical records through the patient portal, ensuring that you can manage your care efficiently. You may see some changes and improvements on our website and patient information, but you will have access to all the same resources.
Can I expect changes with appointments and scheduling?
You can continue to schedule appointments at your preferred location by contacting our office at 865-558-4444 or you can request an appointment online.
Will I need to re-register as a patient after the alignment?
No, you do not need to re-register as a patient. You will continue to be able to visit the same locations, see the same providers and receive the same quality of care.
How can I contact my physician or the clinic?
You can continue to contact your physician or the clinic through the same phone numbers, email addresses and office locations that you have been using.
