KOC Breaks Ground on New Alcoa Clinic

Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic is excited to announce that construction has begun on its second location in Blount County. KOC Alcoa will be part of the Springbrook Farm development right off Alcoa Highway.
“As demand for orthopaedic and outpatient services continues to grow, this facility expands our presence in Blount County, where we have provided comprehensive orthopaedic care for more than 50 years,” said Dr. Jay Crawford, KOC president and pediatric orthopaedic surgeon. “We’re honored to have another opportunity to fulfill our purpose in this community: improving lives through patient-centered care; every patient, every time.”
KOC Alcoa is part of Phase 1 of the new Covenant Health Springbrook campus, a 60,000-plus-square-foot medical facility that will also offer primary care, cardiology, medical oncology, infusion therapy, urgent care, physical therapy, diagnostic imaging and time-share clinic space.
Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic physicians are committed to serving the communities where they live and work through specialized care in sports medicine, hand and wrist, elbow and shoulder, foot and ankle, spine, hip and knee replacement, osteoporosis, trauma, general orthopaedics, and orthopaedic pediatrics and oncology. Providing this depth of expertise close to home ensures that patients receive the highest level of care without having to travel far.
KOC Alcoa plans to welcome its first patients at 1440 Telsa Blvd. in early 2027.
Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic has 10 other clinic locations throughout East Tennessee, including KOC Maryville at 827 E. Lamar Alexander Parkway, which offers clinic appointments and walk-in orthopaedic urgent care.
