Phelps Award for Excellence in Anatomy; and Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He volunteers as a reviewer for Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.
In addition to staying current with the latest trends in shoulder and elbow surgery and related research, Dr. Achors most enjoys spending time with family and fishing. A Jacksonville, Florida, native, he married his high school sweetheart, Jillian, and they have two children.
