Wayne Houser looks forward to meeting patients where they are in the rehabilitation progression and helping them to reach their goals. His clinical interests include late-stage ACL rehabilitation, therapeutic management of the fitness athlete and return to sport rehabilitation.
He earned an associate degree in physical therapy assistant from South College and previously served in the U.S. Marine Corps for eight years as an aircraft mechanic and combat engineer in active and reserve capacity. Wayne joined OrthoTennessee in 2022.
Coaching CrossFit sparked his interest in physical therapy to help others overcome injury and safely return to workouts. He is a certified CrossFit L1 trainer. In his free time, Wayne enjoys competing in a wide range of fitness events, including CrossFit, running and weightlifting
