Matthew McDurmon, DPT, is passionate about educating others about the engineering and restoration of the human body. He focuses on proper body mechanics and movements essential to daily living in order to help patients progress toward a pain-free, quality life. He treats patients across a full spectrum of neural, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal physical limitations.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in food science and technology from the University of Tennessee and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC). He is certified in dry needling of the spine, head, upper and lower extremities. He joined OrthoTennessee in 2019.

Matthew is active in his parish at The Cathedral of The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus in Knoxville. He enjoys being present with the ones around him, learning more about the Christian faith, hiking, running, exploring new cities and national parks, all with his wife and daughter.
