What patients say about Dr. rappÉ

  • Thanks to my care at KOC, I can go back to work full time and exercise again. Dr. Rappé treated me like I was his only patient. Very professional, knowledgeable and confident, but also humble. And always jolly! I once told him he was a combination of "The Big Lebowski" and "Patch Adams." I recommend him highly!
    – Ellen, Knoxville
  • Thanks to my care at KOC, I can get back to an active lifestyle pain free. Dr. Rappe and his staff are great. They were very prompt in scheduling my quad/patellar tendon repair and getting me started with physical therapy so that I could return to doing the things I like to do as soon as possible. I have not had one bit of pain since. The staff at the physical therapy center was great as well and are very knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Rappe and the entire K.O.C. staff are my kind of people...faithful, professional, and have great people skills and keep a smile on their face. I totally recommend K.O.C.!
    – Stan, Maryville
  • Thanks to my care at KOC, I can play soccer again! Dr. Betcher and Dr. Rappe were amazing and helped get me back on the field in 6 months. I was 9 years old when I had to have my ACL and meniscus repaired, and I just wanted to go back to being a kid again. Thank you!
    – Caiden, Knoxville
  • "I want to thank Dr. Matthew Rappe and KOC for the two knee surgeries he has done and the great care I received. In a week he is operating on my right shoulder. Dr. Rappe is an amazing doctor, one of the nicest and most kind doctors I've ever met!"
    – Kacey, Halls
  • "With heartfelt honesty I can say that, even though the tear to my distal bicep tendon was not one of my most favorite life events, the staff at KOC from check in to check out and all in between treated me as family from day one. I am honored and feel very lucky to have Dr. Matthew Rappe and his staff on my side.

Dr. Rappe told me surgery would take about 30 to 45 minutes but due to how bad it was, it took him 3 hours to repair the torn tendon. I can't express enough gratitude to him for his expertise and caring to hang in there for me. I give a very big thank you to my new family at KOC and Tennova North for their professionalism and caring of my injury. Now on to my next phase, rehab, yeaaa! But thanks to my care at KOC, I can expect a full recovery!"
