What patients say about Dr. nadaud

  • Thanks to my care at KOC, I was able to walk the many steps of the Tuscan village of Cortona without any trouble, and only two months removed from my total knee replacement! Dr. Nadaud and his team did a wonderful job!
    – Judy, Knoxville
  • I am over 300 miles of hiking with the new hip Dr. Nadaud gave me in 2015...pretty good for a 60 year old wouldn't you say?! My quality of life continues to be all I wanted and had hoped for! I offer my gratitude and thanks to Dr. Nadaud and all the staff. I hope I can be an inspiration to others..it's NEVER too late!!
    – Jo, Knoxville
  • Thanks to my care at KOC, I can do things I haven't been able to do in years! After Dr. Nadaud did marvelous replacements of both of my knees, I began ballroom dancing lessons. My husband and I have been dancing for a year now and have entered four competitions. We are having a great time dancing! My new knees have allowed me to be active without the pain I previously endured. Many thanks to Dr. Nadaud and his wonderful team!
    – Kathryn, Oak Ridge
  • Thanks to my care at KOC, I can hike again! I received my new knees six and eight years ago. Dr. McGraw performed these surgeries for me. In three years I hiked over a thousand miles on them in the Smokies. Then I needed hip replacement and Dr. Nadaud was my doctor for this surgery. I got my new hip on January 9th of this year. Three weeks later I was walking around Elkmont and now I am doing 3 and 4 mile hikes. Thank you so much KOC!!!!!
    – Becky, Newport
  • Thanks to my care at KOC, I can do anything! It's been nearly a year since my partial knee replacement with Dr. Nadaud. For the past 7 months I have been biking up to 25 miles, hiking in the Smokies, and recently running a few miles on the treadmill.
    – Lew, Maryville
  • "This is my second hip in 13 years, both completed by KOC. The 2002 experience was VERY smooth and I experienced complete success and zero complications! I point out the past experience to showcase how KOC has fine-tuned their already strong processes over the years.

Dr. Matthew Nadaud and his staff have a wonderful demeanor and bedside manner! My evaluation and ALL pre-op meetings were perfect time management examples! The post-op contacts with Jennifer Riden were timely and her actions worked to expedite my rehab. In three weeks, I can already get around nicely without any walking aids and my prior hip pain is gone and my surgery pain is down to minimal and getting better daily! While everyone was great, I have to give special thanks to Vanessa Helgerson. She was my hospital precert coordinator and by default (because I had her business card) became my contact even after surgery. She was ALWAYS most pleasant and extremely helpful! I am sure, by title alone, this was not her job but she came through for me and expedited many messages to others. It certainly made a huge difference to me in the entire process!"
    – Toby, Ten Mile
  • "I can enjoy hiking and taking my dogs to the park without pain. I recently hiked Gregory Bald and Mt. Leconte. Thank you, Dr. Matthew Nadaud!!"
    – Sherri, Knoxville
  • "For several years before my bilateral total knee replacements done by Dr. Matt Naudad, I had a significant limp & pain that caused me to dread even walking through the grocery store. I put the surgery off for a few years trying to find an alternative fix for my knees. In previous years, I had been an avid hiker. For the past 10+ years I had not been able to hike at all. I thought that I would never be able to hike to Mt. LeConte again ever! Thanks to the skill and expertise of Dr. Nadaud, I was able to hike to Mt. LeConte again on April 12, 2015, which was one year & 3 days after my knee replacements! Needless to say, I was thrilled to be able to do that! At 4 1/2 months after the surgery, I could ride my bicycle as far as 18 miles at one time & rode avidly until winter. Prior to my surgery, I did a lot of research to find the best surgeon to do my knee replacements and Dr. Nadaud's name kept coming up as one of the best in our area. From my perspective, Dr. Matthew Nadaud is the best! Because of him & his excellent work, I have been able to get my active life back! I will always be grateful for that! Thank you again, Dr. Nadaud!"
    – Cathy, Maryville
  • "I'm finally sending some pictures. We were in Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland hiking to an overlook of the Tablelands. At the top were these chairs from where I spotted the moose. Thank you, Dr. Matt Naudad and all the others who helped me to be able to continue hiking."
    – Michael
  • “I continue to ride all over the world. Just this year I have done Peru and South Africa with Patagonia (Chile and Argentina) ridden last year. All of this with two replacement knees and a hip, and zero joint issues...talk about an adventure...thanks Matt (Dr. Matthew Nadaud)! Guess what...they are waterproof too!!!"
