Joint Replacement Surgery

Dr. Nadaud began his practice at KOC in 2001, providing specialized care in primary and revision joint replacement, hip arthroscopy, and other joint-preserving procedures. Dr. Nadaud completed a Fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery with Charlotte Orthopaedic Specialists in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Prior to his fellowship, Dr. Nadaud received his general orthopaedic residency training at SUMMA Health System in Akron, Ohio.  Dr. Nadaud is also a graduate of Miami University of Ohio and the Medical College of Ohio.

Dr. Nadaud is Board Certified and is committed to providing the most current, successful treatment options to his patients.  Consequently, in addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Nadaud is very active in orthopaedic research within his specialty areas.  He has been published in numerous professional journals and has presented his research findings at local, regional, and national orthopaedic meetings as well as serving as a faculty instructor at orthopaedic educational meetings. Dr. Nadaud also serves as a research consultant in the development and refinement of joint replacement systems and instrumentation and has performed over 2000 total joint surgeries to date. 

A member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Tennessee Medical Association, the Tennessee Orthopaedic Society, and the Knoxville Academy of Medicine, Dr. Nadaud also serves on the board of the Arthritis Foundation in Knoxville and is a member of several hospital-based committees dedicated to providing the best orthopaedic care in the region.

Dr. Nadaud has a team that cares for the joint replacement patient. The team includes Ms. Jennifer Riden and Ms. Joy Johnson. Ms. Riden is an advanced practice nurse with orthopaedic nursing experience who see patients in the office and Ms. Johnson is Dr. Nadaud’s patient liaison. They will discuss your overall health care issues prior to treatment and will educate you on what to expect from each of your options. The team works exclusively with joint replacement patients and will be available before, during, and after surgery to provide the highest quality and continuity of specialized care.

Dr. Nadaud and his wife have three children.  He enjoys spending time with family and friends and staying active with sports and fitness training.  His hobbies include ice hockey, water skiing and snow skiing as well as coaching youth soccer.
