Athletic Trainers
Mandee Lasseter, MEd, ATC
Mandee
Lasseter is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) with the Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from
High Point University and a Master’s in Health and Physical Education
from Columbus State University.
Mandee works with Bearden High School and has been an ATC since 2002. She is also responsible for the organization and promotion of Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic’s Annual Student Athletic Trainer Camp.
“I stumbled across athletic training and fell in love with the way athletic trainers were becoming an integral part of the athletics society,” Mandee says.
She wants to make an impact wherever possible, and continues to be amazed and encouraged by the growing respect ATCs receive from the medical and athletic communities.
“Helping expedite treatment and get the athlete back to action as quickly and safely as possible is what it’s all about,” Mandee says.
Mandee enjoys reading, cooking, running and outdoor activities. She is an alumna of Phi Mu fraternity and has completed the Athletic Training Fellowship Program at the Hughston Sports Medicine Center in Columbus, Georgia.
