T. Craig Beeler, M.D.

Sports Medicine, Knee Surgery and Athletic Injuries Specialist

Dr. Beeler, a native Knoxvillian, joined Knoxville Orthopedic Clinic in 1981. He graduated with high honors from the University of Tennessee where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Medical Honor Society. Continuing his education at the University of Tennessee Medical School, Dr. Beeler was a graduate salutatorian and a member of Alpha Omicron Alpha Medical Honor Society.

After completing his internship and general surgery residency, Dr. Beeler trained in orthopedic surgery at the Campbell Clinic. He then completed a sports medicine fellowship with Dr. Fred Allman, a pioneer in sports medicine. He has been board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons since 1983.

Dr. Beeler has been the team orthopedic surgeon for Carson Newman athletic teams since 1991. Dr. Beeler has been selected by his peers to the “Best Doctors in America” for three consecutive years (2001-2003). He was voted by City View Magazine to the Top Doctors in Knoxville for 2003.

Dr. Beeler has been married to his wife, Sherry, for 25 years and has two children in college in Charleston, South Carolina. He and his wife are active members of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. He enjoys hiking, fishing, and gardening in his spare time.
